We had the pleasure of attending Old Farm Winery’s first ever Sip and Shop in Aldi, Virginia, marking the beginning of our event season. The winery was the perfect setting for this beautiful Spring day, which came with a vibe of excitement, fun and ladies ready to shop! What’s better than sipping on wine while shopping with girlfriends?
We were joined by many other vendors from chocolate by Babylon Chocolates to pickles by Blue Ridge Pickling.
I received numerous compliments on the items I offered. It was a joy to witness the excitement of the ladies as they discovered products they loved, ranging from my own exclusive collection of handmade bags to Wicks for Wags soy candles, which gives back to various animal shelters, and jewelry crafted from recycled bottles by Bottled Up Jewelry – just to highlight a few.
Not to mention the relief they experienced from my climate-controlled Shasta-turned-mobile-boutique, aka Stella, when the temperatures started to rise in the late afternoon.
This was more than just an event, it was a very successful beginning of what I predict will be a yearly kick off for many vendors in the DMV area. I feel very fortunate to have been a part of it. Cheers to a great season!
