Meet Stella
A kCityBags & More Mobile Boutique
We debuted Stella, our mobile boutique, in June 2021 after nearly a year of renovations. Stella is a traveling boutique trailer that carries my handmade Bags, along with much more.
Our “Stella Stops” are guaranteed to create a unique and inviting shopping experience.
We are proud to offer Stella for both public and private events. Learn more about her story below!
“I’m in absolute LOVE with her mobile boutique named Stella and could not leave without purchasing the cutest handcrafted silver jewelry and this gorgeous bag that is 100% made by Kelly herself!”

Stella Before
We purchased this 1983 Shasta Camper on July 25, 2020. My husband and I knew we wanted a renovation. It proved to be much more... it all had to go!

It's All Got To Go
Nothing had been touched on the inside for years. That was ok because we had a vision! But, we had to get passed years of neglect.

Oh Hello, but Goodbye
"Darrell" the squirrel had taken up residence inside one of the large cabinets.(I had to name him) A friend said maybe he needed a safe space to pass peacefully. RIP Darrell.

More Than A Renovation
The more we tore out, the more we realized it all had to go. We took it apart piece by piece so we could put it back together the "correct" way. Well, with a few improvements.

Building Her Back Up
All that was left was the trailer base. We redesigned her and moved the doors to the opposite side plus raised her roof a few feet. I kept two doors for better traffic flow. I also wanted to keep her curved ends like her original design.

What's That Finish
I wanted the outside to have a texture, not just a smooth finish, again trying to keep the look of the original Shasta. We used a black metal roofing material. The red finish is a waterproof sealer...which is a definite!

That Pink Wall
My grandmother's favorite color was pink. She even had a pink kitchen! I was never a fan of pink. But, I wanted her to be part of my boutique. So, the pink wall is the first thing you see when you enter. A black design was added, with the help of a good friend, to funky it up a bit. It's a mixture of both of us. I think she would approve!

A New Level of DIY
After a lot of research, we decided to use pallet wood for the ceiling. It took 128 pieces and 1280 hours (well it felt like it). The wood was cut, squared, sanded, brushed with polyurethane, arranged by color variation then installed.

The Finishing Touches
We used shiplap for most of the walls along with some beadboard. The fitting room/bathroom (when traveling only) is corrugated metal. The floor was easy, a waterproof laminate. I wanted to have a variety of finishes inside, but not too overwhelming.

Making it Official
Saturday June 5, 2021 was her Big Debut...316 days after her purchase! We literally worked up to the last minute, with the help of family and friends. Her Debut was a family event and I was so happy they were all there to celebrate! I would not have done it without them, they were part of the entire process.

So Much Support
I could not have asked for a better day. I am beyond grateful for all of the support! You all have truly helped this lady bring her dream, of owning her own little shop, to reality.

Star of the Show
The Bags are the number one item in the boutique. You will also find other accessories to complete your look, along with fun stuff for your home. From jewelry, to candles, to sassy coffee mugs & magnets, to macrame' wall hangings and more.
